Welcome to the Gordon Research Conferences, a non-profit organization managed by and for the benefit of the scientific community. The Gordon Research Conferences provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of frontier research in the biological, chemical, and physical sciences, and their related technologies.

Gordon Research Conferences in 2010 and 2011

GRC is organizing over 400 Conferences in 2010 and 2011. Meetings will be held in California, New England, Texas and North Carolina in the United States and internationally in Italy, China, and Switzerland.

For over 75 years, GRC's high-quality, cost-effective meetings have been recognized as the world's premier scientific conferences, where leading investigators from around the globe discuss their latest work and future challenges in a uniquely informal, interactive format. Apply to a Gordon Research Conference now and see why attendees consistently rate them "the best conference I've attended this year".

NEW! Resources for Graduate Students and Post-Docs

GRC is committed to bringing young scientists together to discuss their current research and build informal networks with their peers that may lead to a lifetime of collaboration and scientific achievement. To that end, GRC, with the Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology & Science at North Carolina State University, has established the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) program, a series of 2-day meetings organized by graduate students and post-docs with the support of leading scientists from an associated GRC.

Young investigators are encouraged to visit the Student/Post-Doc Resources section of our web site. This new area contains helpful information for graduate students and post-docs interested in attending a GRC or Gordon Research Seminar.

75th Anniversary Celebration (2006)

Gordon Research Conferences have a rich history and 2006 marked our 75th Anniversary at the frontiers of science. As part of that landmark anniversary, a commemorative publication titled Reflections from the Frontiers was produced in cooperation with the Chemical Heritage Foundation. Conference Sites

The first Gordon Research Conference was held in a Baltimore classroom in the summer of 1931. Since then, the number of sites has expanded to accommodate the growing conference portfolio, and today, GRCs are held year-round in locations all over the world.

GRC is particularly excited to highlight our newest conference locations: Waterville Valley Resort in Waterville Valley, NH, Hotel Galvez in Galveston, TX, Stonehill College in Easton, MA, and Mount Snow Resort in West Dover, VT. These sites offer state-of-the-art facilities, and in the classic GRC tradition, are situated in beautifully scenic areas.
